Armstead Consultants & Educational Solutions (ACES) was established in 2014 by Chief Executive Officer & Founder, Derrick W. Armstead, Ph.D. and Kerry L. Hubbard-Armstead, Ed.D., Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer.

Drs. Derrick and Kerry Armstead have two decades of professional experience in education and social services at the local and state levels. As colleagues, they hold professional credentials and maintain expert skills regarding Educational Leadership/Policy Development & Implementation, Special Education, Grant Writing/Administration, Advocacy, School Improvement, English Second Language, as well as Organizational Leadership experience in traditional, charter, private schools, and social service agencies across the country.

Currently, Dr. Derrick Armstead, serves as Vice President of Operations for a charter school organization based in Central Texas, and is a staunch advocate for educators, parents, and exceptional children and youth. He also volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for San Antonio CASA. His wife, Dr. Kerry Armstead, oversees program administration and consultation at a local independent school district as Executive Director of Special Education.
